On 28th of November, VDNKh center arranged grand opening of a new ice rink. Of more than 20 thousand square meters, VDNKh rink applies for the record. The rink takes all the square of the fountain 'Druzhba Narodov' (Friendship of the Nations) up to the fountain 'Kamenny Tsvetok' (Stone Flower).
The ice rink is divided into different zones: alley 'Beskonechnost' (Infinity), 'Bolshoy Krug' (Big Circle), 'Alleya Vlublennykh' (Alley of Lovers), extreme-park with springboards, hockey area and area for children. The hockey area's size is 20 x 40 meters. 20 hockey players can have place at this area.
Next to the rink, there are warming points, café, medical point, box offices, foot bridges and additional rooms.
