Pavloposadskye shawls

Amongst some of the well-known products that make up the 'pride and glory' of Russia, there are scarves and shawls from the ancient town, Pavlovsky Posad. Every year, the Pavlovoposadskaya Shawl Factory produces about 400 types of shawls, scarves, ear muffs and table cloths made of natural fibers: wool, cotton, silk.
The factory was given the status of folk arts and crafts of Russia as its products are recognized to be of high artistic and cultural value. For more than two centuries the Pavlovoposadskaya School has preserved the original technique and patterns.
Today you can buy Pavloposadskye shawls in company outlet stores in Moscow or via the Internet.
